Job Title: Director, Channel Partner and Supplier Management
Location: Virtual, prefer SF, LA or NY
This is a new role focused on the growth of key business development and lead generation. It has primary responsibility for management, recruitment, education and development of our 450 current channel partners and alliances with the rest of the partner team. This includes partners such as ATT, Savvis, Verizon, Akamai, Digital Realty Trust, and dozens of master agents.
Responsibilities:Work with Chief Partner Officer to develop strategy and tactical plans to meet sales/partner goals for the business alliances, referral advisors, IT services suppliers and thought leader activity.
Recruit and direct RampRate Referral Advisors throughout the RampRate value proposition, deal generation activities, transitioning deals to the direct sales force, and ongoing reporting of activity internally as well as to the Referral Advisors.
Communicate the value of the RampRate ecosystem and RampRate services to secure leads and contracts. Close partner agreements with suppliers.
Gain and maintain mind share of pre-sales support team by assisting throughout the sales cycle, including initial joint sales calls.
Work with marketing to identify and support appropriate supplier portfolio campaigns and recruitment to drive business for RampRate.
Support of value chain with a direct goal of increasing the amount of incremental revenue gained through the partners. This includes the sales of RampRate's products and services to these suppliers and work to secure leads for new business to RampRate.
Preferred individual will have experience with large outsourcers and IT services vendors like: Equinix, Tata, Level 3, Infosys, CSC, AT&T, EDS, Keane, Terremark/Verizon, Akamai, Savvis, HP, ACS and Unisys.
Understand the business models of large Systems Integrators such as Deloitte, Accenture, Bearing Point, IBM, PWC, and niche IT consulting firms with spheres of influence in our key verticals is ideal.
Familiarity with sourcing advisory industry including firms such as TPI, Alsbridge Everest Group, and Gartner Strategic Sourcing.
Experience working with all levels of professionals (Field Reps through CEO’s).
2+ years industry experience in direct or indirect sales of IT services, outsourcing, or managed hosting.
Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skill (detail-oriented rather than sales-oriented).
Demonstrated track record in involvement in deal sizes of over $5 million in revenue.
Must be skilled in positive communications and conflict resolution.

Target Comp: $open base, plus commission/stock/bonus= target $120k+
