Menagerie is looking for at best a technical co-founder or contract technologist architect with strong technical skills to help us continue to build the key architecture of the Menagerie Platform and work with and guide our partner and client engagements. The position is very entrepreneurial - we are not always following the established roadmap, and there aren’t always precedents for things like “explain how IP NFTs support indigenous populations.” But you will have extensive support. What you’ll be doing:

our clients in the conceptual development of any community-related projects, including in Web3/NFT space:

• Drive the Product design process from discovery to implementation
• Work closely with Product Managers and clients to transform complex and abstract concepts and challenges into well-articulated, tangible solution ideas with a strong problem-solving mindset and craft excellence
• Contribute to projects that are reshaping the technological future of fundraising and reciprocity

What you bring to the table: 

• You are a passionate technology architect
• You have 5+ yrs of professional design experience
• You have experience with NFT based web3 voting design
• You are a creative thinker. You are able to perceive and communicate a unique view of the intersection between voting, governance, control and design of web3 ecosystems
• You are a strong communicator and have the skills to convey Web3 native language while implementing a strong brand tone of voice when addressing internal and external stakeholders

This role is a stepping stone to opportunities both within the ecosystem and beyond. An ideal progression would be to spend 12 to 24 months in this role, hire your replacement, and then to take on a larger leadership role.

Target Compensation Compensation model of base plus a quarterly bonus composed of company and individual performance metrics. Pay range is open, commensurate with experience and qualifications as well as participation in employee stock plan. Can be equity, tokens or hourly or contractor depending on the role.
